![]() Where does the Guru Granth Sahib say this? This is the Buddhist world view as Buddhism is rooted on dukh, not the Sikh one.ĥ:36 "Desire (as in any desire whatsoever, emphasis mine) is a dukh". There are many in this video, but I'll highlight a couple just to make my point.ĥ:08 " Everything is a dukh". May satguru ji send us more Gursikhs of their caliber.Again, another sleight-of-hand video by Satpal Singh. Find that treasure that our ancestors have protected until their last breath.ĭaas humbly bows at the feet of the shaheeds. So what can we do to honour their sacrifices? In the words of Sant Ji, take Amrit, keep rehat, stay tyar bar tyar and keep love for Guru ji. The thought of this is spine tingling- for me it’s unprecedented since the siege of Chamkaur. Sant ji in fact came out of Akaal Takht sahib on the 6th June, to meet the Indian army face to face, head on roaring like a lion. It is only with the support of Dhan Guru Raam Daas that such feats can take place. To put in a fight against the Indian army for 6 days, from 1st June to 6th June- indeed there were minor skirmishes even after this- was unparalleled in modern times. Whether you agree with Sant Jarnail Singh or not - one thing is certain - no one can doubt his commitment to standing up to powerful authoritarian forces- that alone is worthy of gurus grace. That same level of spiritual power/energy the relentless thirst for social justice and equality for all loving the guru with all your heart and soul that anak (sense of sovereignty and self worth) that we will never be subdued the royalty and grace bestowed by Satguru ji on the Khalsa but most of all, that warrior spirit that guru sahib has blessed us with. For me, under the leadership of Sant Jarnail Singh, those who protected the honour and sanctity of Sri Harmandhir Sahib showed the world that Sikhi has not changed since its inception no matter how many times people/governments have tried to stop us and change our DNA. ![]()
